Netflix has revealed the first trailer for their The Witcher spin-off “special event,” Blood Origin, and rightfully highlights the awesomeness of Michelle Yeoh.
This morning brings the first trailer for The Witcher: Blood Origin, the upcoming 4-part special event series that tells a brand new story set in the world of the iconic franchise.
This is looking pretty good! To be honest…I haven’t been all that woohoo on The Witcher show, but I’m very much digging the overall look of Blood Origin. The fantasy elements looks sleek, the action is solid, and it’s hard to say no to Michelle Yeoh being amazing.
Set in an elven world 1200 years before the world of The Witcher, Blood Origin tells a story lost to time – one of seven outcasts who unite against an unstoppable power that took everything from them. Their blood quest giving rise to a prototype Witcher in a conflict that brings about the “conjunction of the spheres,” when the worlds of monsters, men, and elves merged to become one.
The Witcher: Blood Origin releases on Netflix on December 25, 2022.
