During Sony’s CinemaCon presentation last night, Phil Lord and Chris Miller took the stage to provide an update on the upcoming Spider-Man: Spider-Verse sequels!
Just last week, Sony hit Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse with a delay, pushing it into June of next year. The announcement also came with word that they were dropping the “Part 1” and “Part 2” aspects of the titles for the next two films, even though they were still meant to be interconnected.
Thankfully, Sony didn’t keep us waiting very long to find out the title. On top of giving attending press a look at 15 minutes of Across the Spider-Verse footage, and revealing the film has 1000 people working on it and consists of 240 characters, we also got the Spider-Verse 3 title.
Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse will bring the trilogy to a close on March 29, 2024.
