X Games Partners With Roku
This week, Roku announced they’ve landed the exclusive streaming rights to the next couple X Games events.
More live sports are coming to Roku next year, with a new partnership that makes The Roku Channel the exclusive U.S. streaming home of X Games Aspen and a major X Games event this summer. The competition will be available on The Roku Channel’s recently launched Roku Sports Channel. In addition, Roku has launched X Games TV FAST channel and will curate a dedicated X Games Zone, a one-stop destination for fans to browse, discover, and stream everything X Games including programming highlights, clips, interviews, archival content and more. X Games Zone will launch in the lead up to the live events.
X Games Aspen will take place from Thursday, January 23 through Saturday, January 25 in Aspen, CO, with some of the world’s best action sports athletes competing in ski and snowboard events. An additional X Games will be held this summer, with more details to be announced at a later time. More information about X Games Aspen is available on XGames.com.
RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic Gets a Switch Physical Edition
Following an impressive launch on the Nintendo Switch eShop earlier this month (December 5th), Atari has announced RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic is getting a physical release on April 25th.
RollerCoaster Tycoon Classic combines the best features from two of the original games in the series: RollerCoaster Tycoon® and RollerCoaster Tycoon® 2. Packed with content, players have enjoyed designing and building roller coasters and rides, landscaping and managing their parks since the first game was first introduced in 1999.

First Trailer for Death of a Unicorn
A24 revealed the trailer for Death of a Unicorn this week, offering a first look at the monster horror film arriving this Spring.
A father (Paul Rudd) and daughter (Jenna Ortega) accidentally hit and kill a unicorn while en route to a weekend retreat, where his billionaire boss (Richard E. Grant) seeks to exploit the creature’s miraculous curative properties.
The Traitors Season 3 First Look Trailer
Peacock offered fans of The Traitors the first trailer for the upcoming third season.
Returning January 9 at 6pm PT/9pm ET with a three-episode premiere event, the series is hosted by Emmy Award® -winner Alan Cumming.
Following the three-episode premiere, new episodes will drop weekly on Thursdays at 6pm PT/9pm ET, with the finale and reunion set for March 6th on Peacock.
Y2K Digital Release
You’ll be able to watch the comedy flick, Y2K, from the comfort of home this Christmas and New Year’s Eve. A24 is releasing the comedy/horror film on digital platforms beginning December 24th.
Silo Renewed for Seasons 3 and 4
This week, Apple TV+ announced their highly acclaimed series, Silo, has been renewed for a third and fourth season, which will bring the series to a close. In an age where TV series, no matter how popular, seem to be cut short/cancelled, it’s nice to know fans will get to see this one make it to the finish line.
The fourth season of “Silo” will bring the series to its final, thrilling chapter, telling the complete story of Hugh Howey’s New York Times bestselling trilogy of dystopian novels. Based on Hugh Howey’s New York Times bestselling trilogy of dystopian novels, and starring and executive produced by Rebecca Ferguson, “Silo” season two is now streaming globally on Apple TV+, and new episodes premiere every Friday through January 17, 2025.

Den of Thieves 2: Pantera Final Trailer
Gerard Butler (Plane, Has Fallen series) and O’Shea Jackson Jr. (Straight Outta Compton, Godzilla: King of the Monsters) return in the sequel to 2018’s action-heist hit Den of Thieves. In DEN OF THIEVES 2: PANTERA, Big Nick (Butler) is back on the hunt in Europe and closing in on Donnie (Jackson), who is embroiled in the treacherous and unpredictable world of diamond thieves and the infamous Panther mafia, as they plot a massive heist of the world’s largest diamond exchange.
