The First Teaser Trailer for ‘Halloween Ends’ Promises a Bloody End to the Saga

The first teaser trailer for Halloween Ends was released tonight and it promises a bloody end to the ongoing saga between Michael Myers and Laurie Strode.

The first teaser trailer for Halloween Ends was released this evening and the focus was definitely on teasing the end of the Halloween saga, at least as it relates to Michael Myers and Laurie Strode. While most of the trailer focuses on what appears to be a brutal fight between Laurie and Michael, there are also clips of their past encounters thrown in as we are assured that this will be the final encounter between the two.

See for yourself in the trailer below:

Four years after the events of last year’s Halloween Kills, Laurie is living with her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) and is finishing writing her memoir. Michael Myers hasn’t been seen since. Laurie, after allowing the specter of Michael to determine and drive her reality for decades, has decided to liberate herself from fear and rage and embrace life. But when a young man, Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell; The Hardy Boys, Virgin River), is accused of killing a boy he was babysitting, it ignites a cascade of violence and terror that will force Laurie to finally confront the evil she can’t control, once and for all.

If this trailer is anything to go by, the director wasn’t lying when he said Halloween Ends would be the most brutal Halloween film of them all. While some have expressed doubt about the Halloween films actually ending for good, it does seem clear that this will at least be the last Halloween film to feature Laurie Strode. As to how that story will end? We’ll have to wait until October 14 to find out.

Halloween Ends releases on October 14, 2022. What do you think of the first teaser trailer?
