Paramount has dropped the first trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog 3, revealing Keanu Reeves’ villainous Shadow the Hedgehog and an old-fashioned team up.
The Sonic movies have absolutely no business being as good as they are. On the surface, they shouldn’t work, and yet, they’re pretty damn amazing. As such, I’ve been eager to see if the third film can bring the same magic. If this first trailer is any indication, we’re in for a treat:
Between the humor, the stepped up action, and more Robotnik (with a surprisingly hard line of dialog), everything is hitting just right in this trailer. It looks like a lot of damn fun and has the hype train already rolling.
Sonic the Hedgehog returns to the big screen this holiday season in his most thrilling adventure yet. Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails reunite against a powerful new adversary, Shadow, a mysterious villain with powers unlike anything they have faced before. With their abilities outmatched in every way, Team Sonic must seek out an unlikely alliance in hopes of stopping Shadow and protecting the planet.
