This morning brings our first look at Smile 2, the upcoming horror sequel that looks to be taking things to another level!
There’s some interesting lore at play in the Smile movie. When you add in a global popstar to the mix, along with the themes of struggling with fame, and it’s an interesting combination that could really take this sequel above and beyond the first.
It’s a fairly straightforward trailer, and the creepiness of the smiling people remains surprisingly effective. I like the added aspect of the famous person, already struggling with it all, now having to deal with a demon. Could add some interesting aspects to the story/character if the film decides to actually delve into it.
