The full, official trailer has released for Christopher Nolan’s new film Oppenheimer, and it looks incredible.
After many teasers and hints, the full trailer for Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film Oppenheimer has finally been revealed and it looks like Nolan has created something truly special. The film follows the titular character, J. Robert Oppenheimer in the time leading up to the creation and testing of the atomic bomb, an event that permanently shifted the course of human history. The trailer hints throughout that Oppenheimer is struggling with the moral weight of what he’s taking part in, all while we see the test bomb being assembled.

The film stars Cillian Murphy as J. Robert Oppenheimer and Emily Blunt as his wife, biologist and botanist Katherine “Kitty” Oppenheimer. Oscar® winner Matt Damon portrays General Leslie Groves Jr., director of the Manhattan Project, and Robert Downey, Jr. plays Lewis Strauss, a founding commissioner of the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission. The film is based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning book American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer by Kai Bird and the late Martin J. Sherwin.
