New Trailer Released for ‘Code Geass: Roze of The Recapture’

A new trailer has been released for the new film series Code Geass: Roze of The Recapture.

You may not have heard, but the legendary anime Code Geass has received a sequel in the form of a film series whose first part releases today in Japan. There’s no word on when this series will release outside of Japan, but here’s hoping it does because what’s seen in this trailer looks incredible.

Code Geass: Roze of The Recapture is described as follows:

“The story follows two mercenary brothers from what was once Hokkaido in Year 7 of the Kowa era: Ash, the elder with high athletic and Knightmare piloting abilities, and Rozé, the younger with a knack for collecting intelligence and leadership, who embark on a quest to recapture Empress Sakuya from the clutches of the Neo Britannian Empire.”

Part 1 of this film series released today in Japan, while the remaining parts are due on June 7th, July 5th, and August 2nd. Again, this is only in Japan so far, but hopefully it will see North American screens at some point.
