On our last Twitter poll, users voted on which Criterion film we should review next. At the time, it was close to Valentine’s day, so the theme was “love”. The winner of that poll was none other than the 1987 cult-classic, The Princess Bride (Spine #948), written by William Goldman and directed by Rob Reiner. The film features an all-star cast including Robin Wright, Cary Elwes, Mandy Patinkin, Andre the Giant, & more! Does this classic stand the test of time?
