New Star Wars Black Series and Vintage Collection Figures Revealed

This morning brought collectors a new Hasbro Pulse Star Wars Fan First Wednesday livestream, in which we got a look at some upcoming toys to drool over.

Sadly, today’s Star Wars livestream from Hasbro didn’t show us anything that could be coming with the arrival of Obi-Wan Kenobi on Disney Plus…But that doesn’t mean they didn’t have some other cool stuff to show off!

On the Black Series side of things, fans will soon be able to fully flesh out their Rogue One collection with the long-anticipated arrival of Saw Gerrera. This is set to arrive in Spring 2023 and will come in at the “deluxe” level of pricing at $33.99.

On top of that, we got a look at the three other figures comprising the next batch of comic book based figures (Black Krrsantan was revealed during Bring Home the Bounty earlier this year). The next wave will include the redeemed (white) Darth Vader from Star Wars Infinities, Princess Leia from her titular comic, and Sergeant Kreel the leader of the elite SCAR troopers.

All of these are set to arrive in Spring 2023 and coming in at $27.99.

The Vintage Collection fans also have some stuff to look forward to! The newest figures joining this 3.75 inch line includes Figrin D’an, the Mandalorian Death Watch Airborne Trooper (from The Clone Wars), Mandalorian Super Commando Captain (also Clone Wars), ARC Trooper Jesse, and an impressive Imperial Death Trooper 4-pack for troop builders.

The 4-pack is slated to arrive in Fall of this year, but the rest are set for—you guessed it—Spring 2023.

In other small scale action figure news, another “prototype” figure is joining the Retro Collection. This time, Chewbacca is getting in on the multi-colored fun. You won’t have to wait much longer for this one, as it’s set to arrive this Summer.

Some announcements for fans of the Gaming Greats collection (that would be me) came during the livestream as well for both TVC and Black Series. Clone Commando Sev is joining his brothers Fixer and Boss, meaning we’re only one away from having a complete Delta Squad. On the TVC side of things Lando is getting the action figure we all wanted from when Solo first released (thanks to his Battlefront 2 skin), and Shae Vizla from The Old Republic is coming back!

I’m super excited about that one, since she was incredibly hard to get your hands on when she first released almost a decade ago. It’s an incredible looking figure and as someone who’s finally gotten back into the MMO, I can’t wait to get this one.

Shae and Lando are set to arrive this Fall, while Sev will hit a little bit later in Winter 2023.

Pre-orders for pretty much all of these go live tomorrow, April 7th at 1PM ET. Which of these newly announced Star Wars figures are you looking forward to picking up?
