This morning brings our first look at the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film, Mutant Mayhem, showcasing the “teen” side to the iconic heroes in a half-shell.
As promised along with the cast announcement over the weekend, this morning brings our first official trailer for the new TMNT animated film. While it’s light on story info, it does an excellent job of showcasing the new version of these characters, they’re personalities, and the impressive animation.
All in all, I’m pretty damn excited for this one. I’m loving the animation style being used, and the personality of the Turtles (who feel like actual teens and not adults playing teens) is really shining through. Let’s just hope the action matches when we get our next look!
After years of being sheltered from the human world, the Turtle brothers set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be accepted as normal teenagers through heroic acts. Their new friend April O’Neil helps them take on a mysterious crime syndicate, but they soon get in over their heads when an army of mutants is unleashed upon them.
