Marvel Officially Reveals the Fantastic Four Cast in Clever Valentine’s Announcement

In a surprise social media post, Marvel Studios has confirmed the cast of their upcoming Fantastic Four film, along with a new release date!

The first family of Marvel is is coming next year, and Disney/Marvel Studios have finally confirmed who will be portraying the iconic superheroes. After a lot (ridiculous really) of speculation and flying rumors, the announcement comes in the form of a fun Valentine’s Day social media post that serves as our first teaser poster:

There we have it. Pedro Pascal is Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic (confirming previous reports), Vanessa Kirby is Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn is Johnny Storm/Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach is Ben Grimm/the Thing. There’s a lot going on in this poster and eagle-eyed fans are already finding clues hidden amongst there. Namely, the logo and styling seems to confirm it’ll be set in a different time period (as has been rumored). Plus there’s the H.E.R.B.I.E. robot as well!

The other important thing to note, is the new release date. Looks like it’s moving back from the original May 2025 release date and will now hit on July 25th. This was previously the release date for The Thunderbolts film, so I’m curious to see if they’re simply trading spots (meaning Thunderbolts would move up), or it’ll get pushed back to a new date as well.

Either way, it’s pretty damn cool to FINALLY have some official casting so all the rumors can be put to bed. Well…I suppose we’re still waiting to see who will play Dr. Doom.

Marvel’s Fantastic Four hits theaters on July 25, 2025.
