On a Wednesday morning, the Marvel Entertainment YouTube Channel went live. The feed began with an unfocused shot of a movie set as a blurry man stepped forth, brandishing an on-set chair, with the name “Chris Hemsworth” printed across its backrest cloth as a quiet tone settled into the background. Every ten to fifteen minutes thereafter, the noise would swell into a musical sting, footsteps would sound, and the camera would pan to a new chair down the line, with a new name displayed. All together, it would form the major cast list for Avengers: Doomsday.
Many of the chairs list names you’d expect to see in the major Marvel tentpole film, like Anthony Mackie and the aforementioned Hemsworth. Some of the most recent Marvel stars will be making an appearance in Doomsday, too, as The Fantastic Four: First Step‘s Sue Storm, Vanessa Kirby, was shown across an early chair as well. On top of all that, there were even some more completely unexpected names that you’ll just have to watch or read on to find out about, but in the end…

This is a big departure from most of Disney’s advertising efforts for Marvel films as of late, with a slow-burn of hype across multiple hours of livestream teasing. It seems like Marvel feels like they’ve got another real winner on their hands this time. Check out the stream recording at this link or keep reading below for the full revealed cast list!
Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday has projected release date of May 1, 2026.
The fully revealed cast list in order of their appearance on stream is: Chris Hemsworth, Vanessa Kirby, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Letitia Wright, Paul Rudd (on a suitably tiny chair, no less), Wyatt Russell, Tenoch Huerta Mejia, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Simu Liu, Florence Pugh, Kelsey Grammer, Lewis Pullman, Danny Ramirez, Joseph Quinn, David Harbour, Winston Duke, Hannah John-Kamen, Tom Hiddleston, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Alan Cumming, Rebecca Romijn, James Marsden, Channing Tatum, Pedro Pascal, and Robert Downey, Jr.
