Today, director Rian Johnson took to social media to offer up a quick little tease for the upcoming Knives Out sequel; officially revealing the title.
Kinda crazy that the film is set to arrive this “Holiday Season” and we’re only just now getting a title. Despite a number of interesting suggestions (some rather humorous), today we know exactly what to call Knives Out 2… Glass Onion:

Before revealing the title, Johnson likened the Benoit Blanc adventures as being in the same vein as Agatha Christie novels. Sure they shared familiar elements (even characters), but were wholly their own adventure. So yeah, Glass Onion seems out of left field, but I’m sure works within the story being told.
Still no release date yet, but the film is set to arrive (thanks to Netflix) at some point later this year. Hopefully with a title in place, we’ll get a proper trailer before too long.
