The first trailer for Prime Video’s upcoming animated film, Merry Little Batman, has arrived to show off the animation style, story, and a new take on the caped crusader.
Next month brings Merry Little Batman to Prime Video, offering Batman fans a new animated adventure to enjoy for the holidays. Today, we’re finally getting a good look at it in action thanks to an official trailer:
While I was kind of thrown off at first, I’m actually really digging this trailer. The 2D animation style is definitely different, but seeing it all play out, seems to work really well for the type of story/humor they’re going for. Combine that with some Christmas themed fun, along with some solid jokes, and I’m eager to see how this plays out. At the very least, it feels like it could be a fun holiday movie to watch with the family.
This Christmas, Damian Wayne wants to be a superhero like his dad—the one and only Batman. When Damian is left home alone while Batman takes on Gotham’s worst supervillains on Christmas Eve, he stumbles upon a villainous plot to steal Christmas and leaps at the chance to save the day.
