Hulu Announces New Animated Predator Movie: Killer of Killers

Hulu just dropped a major announcement for a brand-new movie based on the hunting mastermind often roped in with the Alien franchise, the Predator! This animated feature film, Predator: Killer of Killers, was revealed today with a slick teaser trailer, and you can find it on YouTube or just watch it right here:

The movie, from the director of the incredible Prey, looks to be showing the Yautja species throughout the ages, taking on great warriors from multiple periods of history. From Vikings, to Samurai, to World War II fighter pilots, this one looks to be ready to run the gamut in a gore-filled battle through the ages!

Though the animation studio, The Third Floor, has never undertaken a full feature film like this before, they have provided visual services for many major motion pictures and high-profile series in the past, such as The Mandalorian, Godzilla x Kong, House of the Dragon, and several Marvel Cinematic Universe pictures. If nothing else, the decision to take a page from Fortiche’s success with the hit series Arcane proves they know how to provide a solid visual treat for their viewers!

Predator: Killer of Killers will be available on Hulu and Disney Plus with the proper subscription on June 6. Check out the killer promotional poster as well as additional information after the jump.

The anthology story follows three of the fiercest warriors in human history: a Viking raider guiding her young son on a bloody quest for revenge, a ninja in feudal Japan who turns against his Samurai brother in a brutal battle for succession, and a WWII pilot who takes to the sky to investigate an otherworldly threat to the Allied cause. But while all these warriors are killers in their own right, they are merely prey for their new opponent – the ultimate killer of killers.

“Predator: Killer of Killers” is directed by Dan Trachtenberg with Josh Wassung, from animation company The Third Floor, serving as co-director. The film is written by Micho Robert Rutare and story by Trachtenberg and Rutare, based on characters created by Jim Thomas & John Thomas. The producers are John Davis, Dan Trachtenberg, p.g.a., Marc Toberoff, Ben Rosenblatt, p.g.a., with Lawrence Gordon, James E. Thomas, John C. Thomas, and Stefan Grube as executive producers.
