The first trailer for A24’s upcoming horror/thriller, Heretic, has arrived, teasing a diabolical test of faith from an evil Hugh Grant.
I can’t say Heretic was on my radar to begin with, despite A24’s excellent history of horror/psychological thrillers. That said, this trailer has captured my full attention. It’s just really damn good.
Two young missionaries are forced to prove their faith when they knock on the wrong door and are greeted by a diabolical Mr. Reed (Hugh Grant), becoming ensnared in his deadly game of cat-and-mouse.
Heretic hits theaters on November 15, 2024.
