Everyone’s back together for the all new Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, which manages to pull from the legacy while moving into all new territory.
This morning, Sony Pictures revealed a new, full-length, trailer for Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire and man, it feels good to return to New York.
Considering how much I enjoyed Afterlife, I’m thrilled with all I’m seeing in this trailer. I love that the old crew is back for more than just nostalgia/legacy purposes (like in the previous one) and seem to serve as an actual part of the story alongside the new Ghostbusters as well. Throw in a new villain for a brand new story, and I’m 100% ready for this one.
In Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, the Spengler family returns to where it all started – the iconic New York City firehouse – to team up with the original Ghostbusters, who’ve developed a top-secret research lab to take busting ghosts to the next level. But when the discovery of an ancient artifact unleashes an evil force, Ghostbusters new and old must join forces to protect their home and save the world from a second Ice Age.
Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire hits theaters on March 22, 2024.
