On the heels of a the first posters debuting, this morning brings an impressive first trailer for Creed III.
The story of Adonis Creed continues in our first look at Creed III, which brings a major person from Adonis’ childhood back into his life, though not necessarily for the better:
I’m LOVING this trailer. On top of the overall vibes being shown (remember this is Michael B. Jordan’s directorial debut), I’m very much digging the story they’re going for. Here, Creed is presented with a challenger who isn’t his opposite, but almost himself. Damian is an opponent who’s equally as hungry to prove himself as Adonis once was, but without the temperance he’s been able to learn. I’m very much ready for this one.
After dominating the boxing world, Adonis Creed (Michael B. Jordan) has been thriving in both his career and family life. When a childhood friend and former boxing prodigy, Damian (Jonathan Majors), resurfaces after serving a long sentence in prison, he is eager to prove that he deserves his shot in the ring. The face off between former friends is more than just a fight. To settle the score, Adonis must put his future on the line to battle Damian – a fighter who has nothing to lose.
Creed III hits theaters on March 3, 2023.
