We are 10 days away from the release of “Deadpool & Wolverine” and the trailers just keep coming with Marvel dropping the “Everyone” trailer for Deadpool’s next adventure today!
Just under a minute long, and accompanied by everyone’s favorite 80’s cheerleader tune Mickey by Tony Basil the newest trailer gives us a bit more of a look at some of Deadpools multiversal counterparts.
These cameos consist of the likes of Dogpool, Lady Deadpool, and from what it seems many other versions of Wade. We also get a few more additional 4th wall breaks, reminding us that this will be a movie that drags Disney’s MCU to the adult table kicking and screaming (seriously, cocaine in a Disney movie?). “Deadpool & Wolverine” releases at a critical time for Disney’s MCU, while their Disney+ series have been solid offerings, their recent cinematic releases have been, decent, but not the blockbusters the “Avengers” related films were and continue to be.
It’ll be interesting to see if “Deadpool & Wolverine” with all of its cameos, 4th wall breaks and deluge of Disney jokes, is the shot in the arm Disney’s MCU needs to become the guaranteed blockbuster draw it was.
Deadpool & Wolverine releases in select theaters on Thursday July 25th, and US wide on Friday July 26th.
