Bullet Train is definitely a film I’ve been eager to see more of. The cast is impressive and the idea of pulling them all together for a fast-paced action/comedy is very much up my alley. While there are a lot of things I like in the trailer, it also feels all over the place. Almost like when they were cutting it together they couldn’t decide if they wanted to focus on the action or humor. The result is a somewhat serious tone that doesn’t fit well. Regardless, this is till sitting high on my list to watch this Summer.
An original movie event, Bullet Train is a fun, delirious action-thriller from the director of Deadpool 2, David Leitch. Brad Pitt headlines an ensemble cast of eclectic, diverse assassins – all with connected yet conflicting objectives – set against the backdrop of a non-stop ride through modern-day Japan.
Bullet Train hits theaters on July 15, 2022.
