Since the theatrical release I have been waiting on a chance to get my hands on a blu-ray copy of this film, and today we are one step closer to that goal with the release of official information concerning the disc features. First of all, Wonder Woman will be available on DVD, Blu-Ray, Ultra HD Blu-Ray, and 3D Blu-ray on September 19th (but if you’re impatient, like me, you can own a digital copy as early as August 29th).
Starring Gal Gadot, Wonder Woman tells the back story of the Amazing Amazon we first saw when she leapt onto the scene and into the fight in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. The story begins during her childhood where she, Diana princess of the Amazons, was trained into becoming an undefeatable fighting machine. However, it is not until an American pilot crashes onto the scene speaking of a war to end all wars that Diana steps out of the shadows of home to join the fight that she fully realizes her epic potential.
