After a brief run in theaters, GKIDS is releasing Mars Express on Blu-Ray next month.
While it wasn’t in theaters long, Mars Express made quite the impression in theaters. Now, GKIDS has announced that the stunning film will arrive on Blu-Ray and On Demand services on June 18, 2024.
Set at the dawn of the 23rd century, Mars Express tells a twisted story about humans and robots, all set on the transformed planet of Mars.

In 2200, private detective Aline Ruby and her android partner Carlos Rivera are hired by a wealthy businessman to track down a notorious hacker. On Mars, they descend deep into the underbelly of the planet’s capital city where they uncover a darker story of brain farms, corruption, and a missing girl who holds a secret about the robots that threatens to change the face of the universe.
