Avatar 3 Gets Official Title at D23

James Cameron took the stage at D23 to offer some quick details on Avatar 3, while also revealing an official title!

During Disney’s big D23 Entertainment Showcase, James Cameron himself appeared to offer an update on the third Avatar film. On top of bringing the attendees a look at some all new concept art from the film the director said, “The new film is not what you expect, but definitely what you want.”

We’ll be seeing more of Pandora than ever before, including new cultures and biomes. Even better, we finally have an official title: Fire and Ash.

Sadly, we’re still a ways away from a trailer, but I’ll take any Avatar news we can get! Avatar: Fire and Ash is set to hit theaters on December 19, 2025.
