Update: At 10:35 p.m. CST, Marvel Rivals shared that servers are back up and thanks players for being patient.
Original article: Tens of thousands of Marvel Rivals players are reporting that matchmaking is down on Monday, February 24. Developers said on their official Discord channel they are looking into it.
“We’ve noticed some unusual server issues and are currently looking into them as a top priority. Thanks for your understanding, and we’ll keep you posted with any updates! Ignite the battle!” the community manager said in the game’s news channel at 9:22 p.m.
Players, including myself, are getting an error message that says ‘operation frequency too high.’ I was able to join a queue that reporting an expected one minute queue time, but never connected to a match.
More than 29,600 players reported issues to DownDectector starting just before 9 p.m., and continuing to rise at the time of writing.
This article will be updated as developers share more information on when servers/matchmaking should be fixed.
