Disney Dreamlight Valley’s next content update releases on October 9, and this week developers gave players a look at the new realm being introduced: The Lion King.
We got a look at our laid-back pals and dynamic duo Timon and Pumbaa, who will take players on a “relaxing jungle retreat where you’ll learn valuable lessons in the art forms of rest and relaxation. Eventually you’ll be able to invite them to join the Valley!
We also got a look at the new Star Path: The Night Show, which will include hairstyles inspired by villains, princesses, and rock music, new furniture items that are concert staples (neon lights and pyrotechnic delights!), new Loungefly backpack styles.
Quality of life updates coming in Jungle Getaway include updates to Scrooge McDuck’s layout with furniture items appearing in place of empty clothing displays, daily item rotations for his shop, add crafting recipes and duties to the on-screen Quest tracker, and the implementation of two new control schemes on controller.
One mode is similar “to the game’s original free-flowing style,” while the other will lock the cursor to the center of the screen with the ability to move it by holding a button.
