Getting your scares on in Slender The Arrival VR is going to have to wait a few extra months.
It’s just like good ole times in the video game industry. A lot of games get announced for the end of the year, and some games get delayed to the following year. Why it’s always horror games missing spooky season is beyond me.
However Slender: The Arrival VR is a game on that list. Publisher Perp Games announced on X that the game has officially been delayed into 2025.
We want to invest extra time to ensure that we release a game that fully translates the high standards of the Slender Franchise into the VR world, giving the fans a new dimension of fear!
The game was originally set to release next month on September 19th, so that is quite a long delay for the game. No window was mentioned for when in 2025 we could expect to see it.
The game is the VR rendition of the 2013 title, and Perp Games noted it would be using the games latest update so all the nice visuals and content would be available. Other than the trailer below that was released a short while ago, there hasn’t been much else to know about the game’s VR adaptation.
