EA is bringing some new content to Sims 4, but this time you’ll need to complete a season pass to get it.
Detailed on the EA Blog, the team noted that Sims 4 will be seeing a new season pass update starting today to unlock new content. Unlike the pages of expansions for the game, this one is luckily free, but will take some effort by you.
“Our team created a platform for these new events to live. Something that is flexible, easier to update, and will be easy for you to find and claim those rewards,” Font said. “Our designers have been busy making this new system shine and preparing for the first Event, while our artists have been creating new objects and Create-a-Sim pieces.”
The first event titled Happy At Home simply requires you to login daily for rewards. The development team noted the event requires 8 days of logging in, and the event runs for an additional week so if someone misses a day or starts late there is still plenty of time to unlock all the rewards. The first season seems to include abilities to level up Sims attributes among some decorations.
EA doesn’t note when the next event will be, or how frequent the passes will come. The event is slated to start today, but users are currently reporting the game hasn’t updated to include the event tab yet.
