Watch 13 Minutes of the Silent Hill 2 Remake in Action

Konami’s Silent Hill Transmission delivered another look at Silent Hill 2, showing off a ton of the upcoming game in a lengthy gameplay reveal.

On top of the new cinematic trailer during the State of Play (which also gave us an October 8th release date), Konami’s own presentation revealed the first, lengthy, look at gameplay for the Silent Hill 2 remake. It looks pretty incredible. Check it out:

The gameplay reveal showcases all kinds of spooky in itself. We got to see some of the creatures that haunt the game, but also the combat in the game. Finally we can dodge and avoid attacks instead of just getting beat down with simple mistakes!

Along with that the trailer also showcased the environments of the game which look incredible. You can hear sounds all around you, dark areas feel creepy, and voices and songs off in the distance. There was also some incredible cutscenes to show off too!

The game is available to pre-order starting today, with 3 editions announced digitally. The two bigger ones being standard with just the game, and a deluxe edition which will include 48 hour early access. The Deluxe edition will also come with a digital art book that has over 130 pages of art by the series creators, will incredible monster designs.

During the Silent Hill event Konami also revealed that several new statues and real life collectables will be released later this year, including puzzle pieces from the game and keycards.
