It’s a new week, which means new character roster reveals for Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero. This time around, the heroes and villains of the first two Dragon Ball Z sagas are getting the spotlight:

The new trailer introduces characters from the first two DRAGON BALL Z sagas, the Saiyan Saga and Namek Saga. The Saiyan Saga kickstarts the rivalry between Goku and Vegeta, beginning with the fight against Raditz leading into Nappa and Vegeta’s encounter on Earth. Roster additions include the Saibaman and Chiaotzu.

The Namek Saga follows the journey of Vegeta, Gohan, Krillin and Goku facing the threat of Frieza, the evil emperor looking to claim the Dragon Balls. New roster additions from this Saga include Frieza’s elite troops, Cui, Dodoria, and Zarbon, along with the remainder of the Ginyu Force, Gurd, Recoome, Guldo, and Captain Ginyu himself. Nail, the fierce Namekian fighter, will also be available.

Additionally, DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO will include Frieza in the roster, along with all of his Dragon Ball Z forms: First Form, Second Form, Third Form, Fourth Form, and his Full Power form.

Marking the return of the revered BUDOKAI TENKAICHI DRAGON BALL fighting game franchise, DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO brings the series forward to a new era by pushing the envelope for gameplay and features in an arena brawler. The game’s gravity-defying fights capture each DRAGON BALL character’s signature destructive powers and Ki abilities, all showcased in stunning detail with damage capable of destroying entire parts of the arena.

Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero hits PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S|X, and PCs on October 11, 2024.
