Since it’s launched Helldivers 2 by Arrowhead, Studios has been making waves as one of the best games of the year so far. As it’s fanbase has grown, we have seen not just players on Steam love this game, we have even seen Xbox players beg for this game on their platform.
In the midst of its success, Sony made the radical decision to require a PlayStation network accountlink for anyone playing the game on Steam. Due to the fact that many other countries do not have access to PlayStation Network, this put hundreds of gamers in a in a position of not being able to even play the game. This led to not just the community communicating their outrage, But also the devs of the game itself asking players to leave a negative review on the game until this radical decision is changed.
In a feet of victory, PlayStation has now officially announced that they have heard fans outcries and are now reversing the decision;
