Fans of the classic S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games will soon have the chance to re-live the original trilogy on their Nintendo Switch devices.
Just ahead of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, Switch gamers will have the chance to relive the trilogy of games that started it all thanks to the S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy. Previously released on the other consoles, this is hitting Nintendo Switch on on October 31st. The bundle (each will be sold separately as well) includes Shadow of Chornobyl (2007), Clear Sky (2008) and Call of Prypiat (2009).
These versions of the classic games are fully optimized for Nintendo Switch, including, but not limited to, adapted shooting system with gyro aiming, touch interface and controls, refined visuals, and full handheld and TV mode support. Thanks to these changes, the experience in the Chornobyl Anomalous Zone will feel authentic for all players — both for those who want to refresh their memories and for new stalkers.
GSC worked closely with MATABOO to make this version happen and fully utilize the capabilities of the Nintendo Switch console.
