Amid the excitement over the surprising reveal of the Okami sequel, Capcom has decided to drop a bundle that will be perfect for new players to experience the game and for fans to return for the fun in anticipation of the exciting release.
The Okami + Kunitsu-Gami Bundle released on Friday, and includes Okami and Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess. Kunitsu-Gami was nominated for best sim/strategy at The Game Awards, which was a very stacked category with great games, that lost to Frostpunk 2.
The release of the bundle also heralded in a new free update for Kunitsu-Gami that includes new speedrun missions for several boss battles, new Mazo Talismans rewarded on completion of the speedrun missions, and detailed results information for tracking progress through New Game+, Capcom said in a news release. The update also included new display options and camera configurations in addition to some bug fixes.
The bundle released on PC along with Xbox and PlayStation consoles.
No release window was give with the reveal of the Okami sequel. The original title released in 2006 and has remained a beloved title for nearly 20 years since its launch. The series had an HD remaster release in 2017.
