Get ready to buy a new pair of pants this May.
After several performance delays, MADiSON VR will finally be releasing on May 2nd. The news came shortly after the developers posted that Sony had approved their final release. The most recently delay came because of Unity updating their engine to support additional features, making VR more enjoyable overall, and the team deciding to implement these features in the game. The review process by Sony could take weeks.
Luckily this seems like the final delay for the game, and May 2nd is set in stone for us to finally get our scares on in VR.
The game will cost $34.99, but owners of the original game can get a 20% off discount via the PlayStation Store if you pre-order or buy the game my May 31st. (You have to have bought the game before March 1st)
The original game has won numerous awards, including being the winner of the “scariest game EVER” by the Science Scare Project. We also nominated it for GOTY upon release, and have noted it as one of the best horror games released to date. We can’t wait to get into the game again.
