During QuakeCon 2024, Marty Stratton and Hugo Martin of ID Software announced some exciting updates for fans of classic DOOM and DOOM II. These re-released titles will now be combined into a definitive edition with updated visual support for 1080p/4K, with 60FPS/120FPS.
This edition will include all previous enhancements, new featured music including IDKFA by Andrew Hulshult, a re-recorded DOOM II Soundtrack, all expansions, a new expansion developed by NightDive Studio, ID Software, and Machine Games, a 16-player multiplayer mode, and more!
