Andrew Hulshult’s “IDKFA” DOOM + DOOM II Album is Now Available on Stream PlatForms

During Quakecon ’24, Marty Stratton and Hugo Martin announced that world renowned Musician and Composer Andrew Hulshult worked with ID Software and re-recorded his hit album “IDKFA”. This album was by far the best recreation of the original soundtrack of DOOM, but now has a bit more added spice.

After the announcement that Andrew had re-recorded, it was announce that the music was now available in game and now featured a re-recorded version of DOOM II’s soundtrack as well! Andrew has since announced that the album is now available on streaming platforms and had this to say about the release;

A giant thank you to Bobby Prince for all the work he put into these incredible original pieces and for giving me his blessing to put this together. It has been an honor and a privilege.

Thank you so much id Software for the opportunity.

Never in my wildest dreams did I think this is where this “fun little project” back in 2013 would take me… and a very special thank you to Marty Stratton for approaching me with this idea a little over a year and a half ago.

Last and certainly not least, thank you to everyone who has listened to my music over the years and supported me. I dreamed of making a career and a name for myself in music when I was a teenager. Without you, I don’t think that would have ever come to fruition.

I have become very close friends with Andrew over the last 10 years and I can tell you, there is no one that compete with his talent, kindness, and love for the DOOM Community! Listen to the album now on your prefered streaming platform and check back here soon for more news!
