The new expansion pass revolves around Maleficent and Hades, as their conflict is tearing the Vale apart. Ink has spilled out all across the Valley which has turned characters into “Snippets,” and you must rescue them.
The expansion will include 3 new biomes.
Books come to life in the Bind, fairy tales take center stage in the Everafter (where Maleficent coincidentally also makes her home), and the world of Greek Myths looms large in Mythopia. Best of all, each new area contains a fully customizable layout to decorate with all-new exclusive furniture.
To catch the Snippets there is a new tool called the Royal Net.
Crafted by fairies, the Royal Net is the only tool able to catch these elusive creatures, each with varying levels of difficulty. Players can even craft lures to attract Snippets and make them easier to catch!
Along with the new challenges there will be 5 new friends joining the Valley as well, including Merida, Flynn Rider, and Hades, with two other characters coming in the next installment of the expansion next year.
