During Summer Game Fest 2024, we had the great opportunity to check out Hyper Light Breaker created by Heart Machine Games! This open-world rogue-lite title really blew my mind. As it pushed me to explore the amazing world, I was challenged to strategize as much as possible to take down the Crown(bosses) in the world!
We loved our time with the game and hope to check it out when it comes to Steam Early Access later this summer!
–HYPERLIGHT BREAKER GAME INFO–
Set before the events of Hyper Light Drifter, in Hyper Light Breaker, you
take on the role of a Breaker, a mercenary who must strike out to help establish a settlement in a New Frontier.
You’ll fight through and explore a wide array of procedurally generated open worlds using a combination of hack-and-slash combat, ranged weaponry, and gadgets. Though you start your journey trying to help the settlement, it’s clear that there’s something sinister in the world. Only by dying and trying again will you uncover the dark truths of this brutal world.
