Many studio headlines come across our desks at Cinelinx on any given day. Most are from major movie studios, and some from independent film production companies that are begging for a bit of extra attention. Hitting Rock Bottom is an innovative web series concept with a powerful message of hope to tell and was co-written by our very own Robert Young!

Earlier last week, Warner Bros released a massive 20 movie boxset as part of their 90th anniversary collection, which combined musicals from just about every decade.  WB was kind enough to send us the boxset for review and watching so many musicals in a row got us to thinking about our top ten musicals of all time.

It was an opening weekend chalked full of '80s rock n' roll nostalgia, and TheMoviePool attended with the masses in order to answer some of the burning questions on everyone's mind concerning the film.  Did Tom Cruise prove himself to be a 'Jukebox Hero', or did his performance simply fall flat?  Does 'Rock of Ages' live up to the hype?  Read furhter to find out!

Due to the increasing popularity of UFC fighting, the movie watching world has witnessed several MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) related films come along over the past few years.  However, they all seem of the same testosterone charged, substance lacking formula.  While films such as Never Back Down have their entertaining qualities, there is a basic and predictable storyline of seeing who becomes the big man on campus and gets the girl.  They are cliche almost to the point of lazy screen play writing.  Then there are movies like Warrior, that seem to break the mold for its particular genre.

Have you ever had that one friend that just seems to win at everything?  No, I am not addressing the friends of Charlie Sheen.  However, I am speaking of those studious individuals constantly finding themselves being out shined by the pretty, outspoken “fun girl”. Something Borrowed answers a simple question:  What do you do when your best friend steals that guy you have a mad crush on without giving you a second thought, and you find out he feels the same way about you?  You steal him back, of course!

It may not have been headlining news, since Bin Laden and the U.S. military took that honor, but many of our Twi-hard audience has been waiting for any Breaking Dawn news and tidbits to be offered by the movie studios. We, at TheMoviePool, try our best to help feed your sparkly vampire addiction with eight new pictures to feast your eyes upon. Let the screaming begin!
