Warrior: The Review

Due to the increasing popularity of UFC fighting, the movie watching world has witnessed several MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) related films come along over the past few years.  However, they all seem of the same testosterone charged, substance lacking formula.  While films such as Never Back Down have their entertaining qualities, there is a basic and predictable storyline of seeing who becomes the big man on campus and gets the girl.  They are cliche almost to the point of lazy screen play writing.  Then there are movies like Warrior, that seem to break the mold for its particular genre.

TMP Reviews: The Rite

It was no surprise that The Rite took its place at the top of the box office this past weekend, and TheMoviePool has your review for this morbidly intriguing film.  This film earned its place as Hopkins' highest grossing non-Hannibal open weekend ever due in part or in whole to the fact that when it comes to the dark and sinister Anthony Hopkins naturally brings in a good crowd!
