Last Knights

Initially I was surprised at the almost complete lack of buzz for Last Knights.  It has Morgan Freeman in it so what could go wrong, right?  Yet in spite of having both an actor of legendary status such as Freeman, well-known actor Clive Owen, and some pretty nice action scenes somehow the film manages to be uninspired.  Read further to find out why.

Ragnarok

I recently had the opportunity to screen the Norwegian film Ragnarok and was pleasantly surprised.  Keep in mind that to the English speaking world this is a foreign film.  As long as you do not mind subtitles throughout the entire length you should be good to go as I found that in spite of some formulaic plot lines Ragnarok proved to be an entertaining and descent family adventure film, but did fall short of my expectations brought on by the trailer.
